Top Tools Apps Performance in Austria for Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top tools apps in Austria showed varied performances across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy from Nord Security saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, reaching around $19.9K by the end of September. Downloads, however, experienced a decline from 3.4K in mid-July to 2.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked in mid-August at approximately 56K, ending the quarter at around 50K.

AVG AntiVirus & Security had a steady revenue stream, peaking at $2.8K in the final week of September. While downloads decreased significantly from 1.2K in early August to under 500 by the end of the quarter, active users showed a decline from 36K in late August to about 26K in September.

Norton360 Antivirus & Security experienced a notable increase in revenue, reaching $6.3K in late September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 2.1K and dropping to 1.4K by the end of September. Active users peaked in early August at approximately 26K, closing the quarter at around 16K.

Avast Antivirus & Security from Avast Software saw a stable revenue trend with a peak of $2.7K at the end of September. Downloads decreased from 1K in mid-August to under 700 by quarter's end. Active users declined from 27K in early July to approximately 23K by the end of September.

CT Pool: Crypto Mining App observed a fluctuating revenue, peaking at $1.9K in early September. Downloads were minimal, with a slight resurgence to 64 in the last week of September. Active users remained low, hovering around 200 throughout the quarter.
